Ritman University Management on Thursday, March 5, 2026, held a strategic meeting with members of the University’s Alumni Executive Committee (EXCO) at the Vice-Chancellor’s Conference Room, reaffirming the institution’s commitment to strengthening its relationship with graduates.
The meeting, described as a warm and constructive engagement, served as a platform for open dialogue between the University Management and the Alumni representatives. Discussions focused on ways to reposition the Alumni Association for greater impact while fostering a stronger bond between the University and its growing network of graduates.
Speaking during the meeting, the Vice-Chancellor encouraged the Alumni leaders to remain committed to the growth and development of the association. He urged them not to underestimate the significance of their current efforts, noting that every great institution and organization begins with modest steps.
Quoting the biblical admonition not to “despise the days of small beginnings,” the Vice-Chancellor reminded the EXCO members that their dedication and consistency would lay a solid foundation for a vibrant and influential Alumni body in the years ahead.
A key highlight of the meeting was the discussion surrounding the upcoming Alumni Homecoming, which will take place in November as part of the University’s combined 6th, 7th and 8th Convocation Ceremonies. The Homecoming is expected to bring together graduates from different sets to reconnect with their alma mater and contribute meaningfully to its continued growth.
During the Homecoming, activities will include the induction of new members into the Alumni Association, as well as discussions around legacy projects that the Alumni body can undertake to support the development of the association and the University at large.
The University Management also reaffirmed its readiness and openness to engage with Ritman University graduates, encouraging stronger collaboration with alumni in their various professional fields and areas of endeavour. Management noted that the success and progress of alumni remain a source of pride to the institution and a vital component of the University’s long-term vision.
The Alumni EXCO members expressed appreciation to the University Management for the opportunity to engage directly with the leadership and pledged to intensify efforts toward building a more active, responsive, and impactful association.
The meeting ended on a positive note, with both parties reaffirming their shared commitment to strengthening alumni engagement and advancing the collective vision of Ritman University.
