In a bid to strengthen the cordial relationship between the University and its host community, the New Management Team of Ritman University, Ikot Ekpene, has paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Ikot Ekpene Local Government Area, Hon. Aniefiok Nkom, at the Council Secretariat, Ikot Ekpene.
Leading the delegation, the Founder/Visitor of Ritman University, Distinguished Senator Emmanuel Ibok-Essien, expressed appreciation to the Local Government for its continuous support and peaceful coexistence with the University since its establishment. He noted that the institution remains committed to fostering community development through education, research, and partnership initiatives.
In his remarks, the Founder highlighted Ritman University’s history as well as the ongoing efforts to promote academic excellence and moral discipline, adding that the University’s progress would not be complete without the collaboration of the host community and local authorities.
Responding, the Executive Chairman of Ikot Ekpene Local Government Area, Hon. Aniefiok Nkom, commended Ritman University for its developmental strides and contributions to the educational advancement of the region. He assured the Management Team of the Council’s unwavering support and partnership towards sustaining peace and development in the area.
The visit featured exchange of goodwill messages, and group photographs symbolizing unity and shared commitment to the growth of education and community welfare.
The Ritman University delegation included the Founder/Visitor of Ritman University, Chief Executive Officer of Ritman Group of Companies, Vice-Chancellor of Ritman University, Registrar, Librarian, Chief Security Officer and other officers of the institution.
