Vice-Chancellor’s 2026 New Year Welcome Address

Dear Esteemed Members of Staff and Dear Students of Ritman University,

On behalf of the Governing Council, Management, and Senate, I warmly welcome you all back to campus as we resume from the Christmas and New Year holidays.
I trust that the festive period offered you a refreshing opportunity to rest, reflect, and reconnect with family and loved ones. As we return to our academic and administrative duties today, I encourage everyone to approach the new phase of the session with renewed energy, optimism, and a strong commitment to excellence.
The new year presents us with fresh opportunities to consolidate our achievements, confront challenges with resilience, and further strengthen Ritman University’s vision of academic excellence, innovation, character formation, and service to society. I urge members of staff to continue to demonstrate professionalism, dedication, and mentorship in the discharge of their duties, while our dear students are encouraged to remain disciplined, focused, and steadfast in their pursuit of knowledge and personal development.
Let us all work collaboratively to sustain a peaceful, productive, and intellectually stimulating academic environment that reflects the core values of Ritman University.
I wish you a successful, fulfilling, and rewarding period ahead. Once again, welcome back, and may the year bring progress, good health, and remarkable accomplishments to us all.
Thank you.
