Ritman University Vice-Chancellor Honoured at Elite Brothers Club Leadership Inauguration and Induction Ceremony

The Vice-Chancellor of Ritman University, Prof. Akan Williams, was among distinguished personalities honoured during the swearing-in ceremony of the new leadership team, induction of new members, and reception of distinguished Vice-Chancellors organised by the Elite Brothers International Club.

The colourful event, which took place at Amunice Event Centre in Uyo, brought together respected academics, professionals, community leaders, and guests from different parts of Akwa Ibom State in celebration of leadership, service, and community impact.

A major highlight of the ceremony was the official reception and recognition of three members of the Club who have been appointed Vice-Chancellors for their remarkable contributions to education, leadership, and societal development. Among the distinguished honourees was Prof. Akan Williams, whose leadership at Ritman University continues to attract commendation within and beyond the academic community.

The event featured the swearing-in of newly elected executive members, induction of new members into the club, goodwill messages, musical interludes, and speeches emphasizing unity, integrity, transparency, and community service. The ceremony also witnessed the swearing-in of the club’s new executive council, followed by the induction of new members who pledged commitment to the ideals and vision of the organisation.
